‘Sólo por estar solo’ (Only as a consequence of being alone) – Fundación Raíces Report

This report -presented in April 2014- explores the relevant practices concerning the age assessment of unaccompanied migrant children in Spain, who undergo medical examination regardless of the fact that they are in possession of a valid passport or other identity documents issued in their home country. Other lawyers in the 3 partner associations, authors of this report (Fundación Raíces, Fundación Abogacía española y MICAP), have continued to denounce age assessment practices conducted on unaccompanied children.
